More Projects

(Jan) Craig’s List is an excellent recycling resource; something no longer needed by one person is another’s useful treasure. Chuck had been wanting another roll out drawer for our the MH and found one on Craig’s List and the seller was just 3 blocks away. Yesterday he unloaded the bay in the basement and installed the ‘new to us’ Joey Bed sliding tray. What a nice improvement, it will be so much easier to get to things stored in there now.

tinted windows

Another great improvement happened on Monday. We had Armando from Supreme Glass tint the front driver’s side and passenger windows. On the driver’s side the upper windows are done in a medium tint, the lower done in a light tint.Armando with Supreme Glass Both are equally UV protective and heat retardant. On the passenger’s side the back window is medium and the window in the door is light. Armando did a excellent, professional job and we are sure happy with the result. We noticed that when we are parked and today when we were driving the MH, there was less heat and glare coming in. Supreme Glass can be found at 11456 So. Foothills Blvd.

Connie Carno and Art SauerstromBeside repairs and projects done in the MH, we’ve gotten to spend more time at Joanne’s playing cards, getting laundry done and eating pizza!  And back at the lot on 53rd Street we’ve had a very pleasant time with Art and Connie.  Last night we shared dinner and pleasant conversation again. We met them last year at the Coarsegold SKP Park in California and then spent some time together last winter in Yuma. They’re good people!

Sidewinder BLM ground off of Ogilby Road has always been one of our favorites and this afternoon we are once again calling in home. We arrived here to a nice view of the Ogilby Hills and are making plans for a hike tomorrow.
